Factories must comply with construction standards outlined in the “Standards and Requirements for Building Factories and Support Services in Industrial Cities” guide issued by MODON.

Factory Construction Components:

• Production Halls: Designed with appropriate height for all manufacturing operations, including mechanical tasks, based on industry type.

• Raw Materials Warehouse: Area must cover 30%–40% of factory needs, with potential increases based on facility size.

• Finished Products Warehouse: Must accommodate 30%–40% of production output; area scales with factory size.

• Personnel Service Areas: Include toilets, prayer room, first aid station, dining hall, and dressing room.

• Administrative Building: Includes offices to support factory operations.

• Electrical Power Supply: Must include dedicated rooms for medium and low voltage systems and a main circuit breaker.

• Safety and Security Systems: Must include backup firefighting tanks, fire suppression systems, and a fire alarm system.

• Internal Roads: Required for efficient access between factory units and to main roads.

• Front setback (facing the road): Minimum 13.5 meters

• Side and rear setbacks: Minimum 6 meters
